1. No Refunds
AutoShort does not offer refunds for subscriptions or credits purchased. All sales are final. This policy applies to:
- Monthly and annual subscription plans
- One-time credit purchases
- Add-on features and services
- All payments processed through our platform
By purchasing a subscription or credits, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.
2. Why We Have This Policy
Our no-refund policy exists because:
- Our AI services consume third-party API credits (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Pexels) that cannot be refunded
- Video generation and processing incur real infrastructure costs
- Credits are instantly usable and non-recoverable once consumed
- We provide a free tier to test our service before purchasing
3. Try Before You Buy
Before purchasing, we encourage you to:
- Use our free tier to test video generation quality
- Review example videos and demos on our showcase page
- Read our documentation and feature descriptions
- Contact our support team if you have questions
This allows you to make an informed decision before committing to a paid plan.
4. Subscription Cancellation
While we do not offer refunds, you can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Go to your Dashboard → Settings → Billing
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
- No charges will be made after cancellation
- Unused credits will remain available until subscription expires
Important: Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
In rare cases, we may consider refunds at our sole discretion:
- Duplicate charges due to payment processing errors
- Service unavailability for extended periods (7+ days)
- Billing errors caused by system bugs
To request a review, contact support@autoshort.org with:
- Your account email
- Transaction ID and date
- Detailed explanation of the issue
- Supporting documentation (if applicable)
Note: Refund requests due to dissatisfaction, change of mind, or unused credits will not be approved.
6. Technical Issues and Support
If you experience technical problems:

- We will work to resolve issues within 24-48 hours
- You may be eligible for credit compensation if the issue was caused by our platform
- Credits cannot be refunded but can be added to your account
7. Unauthorized Charges
If you believe you were charged without authorization:
- Contact us immediately at support@autoshort.org
- Provide transaction details and evidence
- We will investigate and take appropriate action
- Confirmed unauthorized charges will be refunded
8. Payment Processor Terms
All payments are processed through LemonSqueezy. By making a purchase, you also agree to LemonSqueezy's terms of service and refund policies. In case of disputes, LemonSqueezy's policies may apply alongside ours.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of AutoShort after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
