AutoShort provides an AI-powered platform that:

• Generates video scripts using AI
• Creates voiceovers with AI text-to-speech
• Combines visual content with voiceovers to create short-form videos
• Uploads videos to platforms like YouTube Shorts and TikTok (if connected)
• Provides automation tools for content creation

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

4. Acceptable Use Policy

By uploading, linking, or submitting any script, URL, image, video, audio recording, voice sample, likeness, or other material, you represent and warrant that you own it or have all rights, licenses, consents, releases, and permissions required for us to process it and for your intended use of the output.

You agree not to use AutoShort to:

• Create illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights, including copyrights and trademarks
• Use a person's likeness or voice without authorization, or impersonate a person without their informed consent
• Create or distribute deepfakes or other deceptive synthetic media without the subject's informed consent, or present synthetic media as authentic
• Create or distribute sexual or pornographic content
• Create sexualized, exploitative, or unsafe content involving minors, or use a minor's likeness or voice without the rights and verifiable consent required from a parent or legal guardian
• Scrape, harvest, or extract content or data without authorization, or bypass access controls or technical restrictions
• Spread misinformation or engage in fraud
• Harass, bully, or threaten others
• Distribute malware or engage in hacking
• Violate platform policies of YouTube, TikTok, or other connected services
• Resell or redistribute our service without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

• Fees are processed by third-party payment providers or merchants of record. Depending on the platform and transaction, these may include Polar, Stripe, Apple, or Google
• The provider responsible for a transaction is identified at checkout and on the receipt, and its transaction terms may also apply
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
• The 14-day money-back guarantee applies only to an eligible first monthly or annual subscription purchased directly on the AutoShort website; app-store purchases follow the applicable store's refund process
• Subscription renewals, later subscriptions, and plan changes do not restart the guarantee
• Consumed one-time credit packs are non-refundable except for confirmed duplicate or unauthorized charges or billing errors
• Cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your current billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

7. AI-Generated Content

When using AI to generate content:

• You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing
• We are not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated scripts or content
• You must comply with platform policies when publishing to YouTube, TikTok, etc.
• AI-generated content may not be unique and could be similar to content created by other users

When connecting YouTube, TikTok, or other platforms:

• You authorize us to upload videos on your behalf
• You are responsible for compliance with their terms of service
• We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs or policies
• You can revoke access at any time through your account settings

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

AutoShort is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of AI-generated content
• Success or virality of your videos
• Compatibility with all devices or platforms
• Specific results or outcomes

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of AutoShort.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Use the service in a manner that harms AutoShort or other users

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, you will lose access to your videos and account data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Continued use of AutoShort after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms of Service are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
