Make AutoShort videos from your AI chat
AutoShort has a remote MCP server. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor or VS Code, sign in once, and your assistant can draft a video with you, render it with your credits and hand you the finished link.

What your AI can do with AutoShort
- Write a video script with you, show the scenes and the credit estimate, and render only when you approve.
- Make faceless shorts, product ads from a product page, image-to-video clips and chat-style videos.
- Run Silent UGC campaigns for your own app: hooks, a preview, then a batch.
- Check your credits, plan and usage before spending anything.
- Watch renders and hand you the finished video links.
It uses the same credits and limits as the web app. It can't delete videos, change your plan or payment details, or create API keys.
Set it up in your app
Every app below signs in with OAuth: you paste the URL, approve AutoShort once, and no key is copied anywhere.

Questions
Do I need an API key?
No. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code sign in with OAuth: you approve AutoShort once in the browser. An API key is only needed for the local npm package (Advanced).
Does connecting cost anything?
Connecting is free. Videos your AI renders use the same credits as videos you make on autoshort.org, and drafts are free.
Which plans does it need?
You need an AutoShort account with credits to render. Each AI app has its own rules: Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector, ChatGPT needs developer mode, and Gemini custom apps are US-only for now.
How do I disconnect an app?
Go to Dashboard → Connect to AI and click Revoke next to the app. It loses access within 5 minutes. You can also remove the connector inside the AI app.
What can the AI see?
Only your AutoShort account: your videos, drafts, credits and usage. It acts with the permissions you approved and can't touch your payment details.
